Hi, my name is Beth! My passion is helping expecting families navigate hospital birth without unwanted intervention. Yes, hospital births can be absolutely beautiful!

I didn’t always think this, as my first hospital birth was chaotic, impersonal, and not at all what I thought it would be. But it was the catalyst to a fulfilling career in birthwork, ensuring unwelcome experiences don’t happen to other families—I too had my own redemptive hospital water birth with my second daughter!

I spent the next several years becoming a labor and delivery nurse and a certified nurse midwife, but I still didn’t feel I was able to guide families in the most personalized, impactful way I saw was needed. I left the hospital system to dedicate the next year to developing my self-paced, online birth course rooted in personal autonomy, mindset, and informed decision-making that is accessible to all my clients.

As a virtual and in-person birth doula and childbirth educator, my goal is for you to know your options, uncover what your ideal birth looks like, and work with you to be prepared to make the choices that align with your values. It is your birth, your choice!
