Growing up, I was the oldest cousin. I grew up babysitting all the younger kids in my family, which meant being around babies my whole life. It made me fall in love with all things baby. I was hooked and loved every minute! It led to me becoming the woman I am today.

After I had my first child, I became the breastfeeding guru and I knew I wanted more out it on a professional level. With my second child, that feeling became even more intense. My prenatal and postnatal care was at a local birth center and I dreamed of working there after birthing there. A few months later, that dream came true. I began working as a postpartum doula at the birth center for families who delivered there and stayed with us for their postpartum care. My heart has grown attached to birth work in the past 6 years.

Since, I have added another baby to my life, postpartum doula training, labor and birth doula training, and bereavement doula training; the list continues to grow as I expand my dedication to the families I serve. I have a passion for bereavement doula work due to personal experiences. I thrive to help others through a difficult time. My passion for birth work and postpartum work stays strong through providing compassionate dedication and making the transition easier to families that I serve. I believe in “Mothering The Mother” and helping a family enjoy each moment of their journey into parenthood and throughout parenthood with the ability of offering a helping hand when needed. Let’s be honest..there is always something you need help with as a parent. It takes a village!
